I can’t wait until video generation models like Sora can generate whole animated stories based off some of my favourite fiction books

This is opposed to Transformers who can take in a whole input at once instead taking in words sequentially

It continues. RNNs: the old king of LLMs as architecture before Transformers came and dethroned them. They would read words and store them sequentially, creating a context as they go. Unfortunately as this storage grew, they would eventually forget earlier words they stored thus
We continue. PyTorch: a deep learning framework used to build neural networks(the tech behind LLMs). Without it researchers would have to write all the mathematical code from scratch.

Was planning on setting up the backend next but spoke to my co-founder(Claude) and I think it’s better to implement the blocking using the Screen Time API which is notoriously tricky. It will probably be the most tedious part of development

I see this is the approach Anduril took - software first approach even though technically they’re a hardware company
So from everything I’m reading, the bottleneck for taking robotics to the next level wasn’t the mechanical elements — Boston Dynamics and the Chinese companies have been killing it — it was the software/AI, essentially the brain. So even with this Figure vs Tesla war, it’s really

Finished off 99% of screens. Next on the agenda is the database schema

Continuing to put AI/ML concepts into my own words to make Feynman proud — Attention Mechanism: this is when neural networks assign different levels of importance to tokens/words from an input. In reality, the “importance” is mathematical weights.

Running on 20% capacity because I was up watching UFC 323 but I decided to setup my efficient attention ML project. I thought about finishing Unfry first then working on it but lately the AI/ML but has got me so I’ll work on both simultaneously. Using the industry standard

This mechanism is important for the neural network to focus on the most relevant parts of the input and also saving on compute.

Going to be diving deep into AI/ML/Robotics and I think it’s a good idea to use X or Blogs to talk about those topics in my own words (Richard Feynman learning style)

Made the transfer from Google AI Studio for initial UI using Gemini to Xcode for the proper building of the app

In recent weeks I’ve seen loads of talk on TPUs and I kept thinking what the heck are those. Short answer from my research so far: they’re chips that help with the workload AI requires. Similar to GPUs but more specific for machine learning

Been building a new feature for Noet: Smart screenshots 📸 - Press ⌘+Shift+S - AI, extracts context (apps, text, intent) - Auto-sorts into folders - Your screenshots become searchable knowledge to refer to later All done locally, no cloud API calls

Haven’t had tiktok in years so I’m not sure if the reels I see do well on Insta will also do well on TikTok? My guess is - yes

Flu season so got derailed but waitlist is up now ➡️ https://t.co/gqLqGROyHS. Distribution strategy next
Been sick this weekend but started on the land page yesterday. Once it’s done, I’ll start brainstorming social media videos alongside continued development. Want to check interest before development is even finished.

This is the company inspiring me to get into Hardware. Physical AI is bound to be the most fun endeavour for the next decade

I need see the full video of how this flight test went
A young man in Chengdu, China used technology to make “flying swords” in real life. He controls many drone-like swords with hand gestures, making it look like scenes from a fantasy movie. People online are amazed and call it “modern-day kung fu tech.”

Spent the weekend working on some new features introducing daily breifing. Looks at the memories stored locally to give you: GitHub activity summary Slack mentions & updates Today's calendar agenda AI-generated action items All local. Triggered both on boot up and upon request.
