This is such an unbelievably sad day for Ian's family and for all of us @WolvesCouncil. It was a privilege to work with him as his CEO - he was endlessly supportive and positive. A great Leader, more importantly a great person who I will miss enormously
The City of Wolverhampton Council sadly announces the passing of its Leader, Councillor Ian Brookfield. Councillor Brookfield, 57, died yesterday after a fearless battle with cancer, following a diagnosis earlier this year. He was with his loved ones. (1/3)
