During August, National Make-a-Will Month, we hope you’ll consider including land conservation in your vision for the future. By designating the Land Trust as a recipient of a portion of your estate, you can extend your support beyond your lifetime. https://t.co/RB6dMuaTOv

When did you develop a love for the outdoors? When these kids participating in our Forest Friends program are asked, they'll say, "At an early age!"

Our education team visited Mill Creek Elementary this past week for a 2-day on-campus program with 65 5th graders. We discussed water ecology, the water cycle, fossils, geology, and introduced them to some local macroinvertebrates. Plus a visit from RISE Raptor Project!

It was cool to see a green heron at the school pond (north Alabama). That’s not something we see every day!

We’ve got a yard full of clover and a bunch of assorted flowers, yet this is the first one of these I’ve seen this year.

I’m looking for an online library of Russian language children’s (upper elementary) books. Does anyone know of any resources like that? Teachers, please retweet — thank you!
