CLUB STATEMENT An update about our ground grading work:

Solihull Moors can confirm that Andy Whing leaves the club today to take up an appointment as Head Coach of League 2 Barrow AFC.

STATEMENT: The club can confirm, following a meeting with the board, the departure of First Team Manager Angelo Harrop. Angelo took us to two playoff's in two years and managed to win promotion on the second try, whilst also winning the Essex Senior Cup too in his first season!

Didn’t hear the comms myself and only just spotted this now, but what a refreshing response from a top tv professional. Being human is why we love @OfficialPDC and love the guys on comms. Wayne, as ever, a brilliant human on and off screen. Hope you are well sir. 🎩

Next chapter: Ding, ding….

As I said yesterday, I’ve made some lifelong friends from my time at the club and the reaction from so many only remphasised that. If this change means I reconnect properly with some of you and finally get a chance to spend some quality time with good people, it’s a win, win.

Truly humbled by all the messages of support. Already a remarkable number of new opportunities landing and I’m even in big boy long trousers today, off to make some of them happen.

However, circumstances change and it is clear that my knowledge and experience are now better placed elsewhere. I wish the club every chance of success and it will always have a big part of my heart.

In my time at Hayes & Yeading United FC and Yeading FC before it, I have met some fantastic people, many of whom will be lifelong friends, enjoyed some fantastic experiences and created memories that will live with me forever.

It’s with much sadness and a heavy heart that I regret to announce I have left the club I have served for 26 and half years with immediate effect.

Hands up @TherealNihal I was one who took time to appreciate your abilities @bbc5live 🤦‍♂️ but now value you as one of, if not THE, best interviewers of our time. Truly appreciate your journalistic values, your humanistic perspective & genuine enthusiasm to put the same to use. 👏🏼

The format of that debate did a real disservice to politics. The politicians have to be allowed time to develop an argument, and the moderator should be able to turn off their microphones when they overrun.
