Looks like "Post Warlone" Farmer will be my new name. I'm going focus on the Century Jets over the next couple of weeks and give them some much needed love. With these names how can you go wrong: Super Sabre, Voodo, Delta Dagger, Starfighter, Thunderchief, and the Delta Dart😎.

What era of military/vintage aircraft are you most interested in? I'll prioritize my queue of over 4,000 historic aircraft videos and officially change my first name based on the results (with my wife's approval of course).🀘.

Some cool shots of the XF-104 during taxi and first and second flight tests (my favorite Century rocket). They pretty much did pre-build testing by strapping the wings to an actual rocket flying at supersonic speeds. 🀘😎

Here's an interesting potato quality shot of a YF-12A (for the sake of my replies, I hope I got that right) launching a missile as part of flight tests out of Edwards AFB in 1965. First time seeing that. 🀘😎. source: Edwards AFB

B-17 making an emergency landing at Calvi Airstrip in France around 1944 (according to shot card in archives). Looks like maybe an engine out and tires flat.🀘😎

Oregon ANG F-15's with a badass paint scheme coming in for quick top off (although it took a while to get connected). 🀘😎

An A-5 Vigilante made an unexpected stop at Carswell AFB with a wheels up landing in 1969 as it was headed from Miramar to Georgia. I've been researching the interesting history of Carswell and, man, there were a lot of crash landings and they probably flew over my rooftop.πŸ‘€

Great footage of F-35's and F-15's launching out of RAF Lakenheath, my old stomping grounds, taking part in Atlantic Trident 25 just last week. 😎

B-58 Hustler landed with one wheel partially retracted at Carswell AFB, Sept 17, 1964. One of many Hustlers crash footage I've ran across recently. This was back in the day when reporters could just drive up on the airfield and interview the pilots. πŸ‘€

Footage of XF9F-2 Panther (circa 1947) Testing arrested landings and then a random shot of a Vought F7U Cutlass flying over. These were found in the National Archives mislabeled as something totally unrelated. I love finding the hidden stuff and sharing with ya'll. 🀘😎

Some good shots of badass Tomcats screaming off the deck of the USS John F. Kennedy(I think). It was dated 04/28/1994 so this may have been news B-Roll footage for reporting on an F/A-18 that crashed and killed the driver off the USS Saratoga on that day.🫑

Here's an interesting clip from a 1956 news story documenting that Convair was testing a nuclear reactor onboard this NB-36H at Carswell AFB. It is the only aircraft "known" to carry a nuclear reactor. Convair claimed it was only testing it's effect on flight instruments.πŸ‘€

A super rare look at the Convair XC-99, a heavy cargo prototype that was the largest piston-engine land-based transport aircraft build and based on the B-36. Just like most everything I post, this footage is rare but it might be making it's internet debut.🀘😎

A quick look at some behind the scenes action on a NATO AWACS from footage released today of them participating in Exercise Anatolian Eagle 25 this weekend in Konya, Turkey. They actually look a bit annoyed, lol, like the deer on my property when I film them.😎

Some beautiful footage upscaled of Avro Vulcan XA902 making an appearance at Carswell AFB on Oct 29th, 1957 as the base prepared for the annual SAC world series of bombing, navigation, and reconnaissance. The Vulcan is on my top 5 list of beautiful aircraft for sure.🀘😎

Before the B-2 or any other bomber there was the XNBL-1 "Barling Bomber". It was built in 1923 with a range of 170 mi and a ceiling of 2k'ish ft. but capable of carrying a 5,000lb bomb load. It never went into production but influenced development of future bombers.😎
