Very, very few people have had a greater, positive impact on our city than Father Mike. He will be greatly missed. A friend and mentor to so many. A life well-lived. Rest in peace.
Fr. Mike McCaffrey, Past President and Faculty of Newman Theological College, and retired priest of the Archdiocese of Edmonton, passed away this morning (January 12, 2020) at the age of 85. Let us pray for the repose of his soul and for his family. May he rest in peace.

Fred is a national treasure, a strong man, with a wonderful family. Sending my best to my old friend in his battle.
Prayers up for Fred Sasakamoose (#21) who is battling COVID-19. Praying for Fred and his family. Fred is best known as the first indigenous player in the #NHL and the first First Nations player with treaty status. Above everything, Fred is an absolute gem. Pulling for the best.
