What if the Chiefs had declined the late penalty on Baltimore for a first down, and then the Ravens had kept trying to commit offside to give KC the first down. and the Chiefs kept declining the penalty?.

Proposal for NFL OT:.Toss winner: choose to be Team A or B. A picks yard line and # of downs. B picks O or D. O wins with a TD within the number of downs. If they run out of downs, turnover, or fail to get a 1st down, they lose. Penalties don't use up downs (except loss of down.).

Why are so many people saying that Romero was offside on Harry Maguire's own goal just now? Romero was *behind the ball*.

Hey @CBSSportsGolazo , how about your studio commentators stop crapping all over your professional referee's explanations of why VAR is making certain calls? Instead of just saying, "No, the referee is wrong" even after you've literally *just* had it explained to you.

Yep, Canada has clinched a top 4 finish in CONCACAF qualifying. The trick is that CRC and PAN both have to win 3 games to pass CAN, but that's 2 losses for USA, so they couldn't pass CAN. At least one of CRC, PAN, and USA cannot catch CAN, clinching top 4 for Canada.

It looks like Canada has managed to clinch a top 4 finish in CONCACAF qualifying. At least, that's what the person updating the Wikipedia page for qualifying says. :D.

I think that ties in the NFL are fine, but if you want to get rid of them, keep the current rules but in the event that overtime ends tied, declare the team that kicked off at the start of OT the winner. Receiving and kicking a FG is now *MUCH* riskier.
