One framework I’ve recently adopted is the idea that everything is a skill issue:. Couldn’t get a job at an awesome startup? Skill issue. Couldn’t raise a seed round? Skill issue. Couldn’t close an important customer? Skill issue. Weren’t able to get a meeting with Jeff Bezos?.
