Year 5 and 6 RAN themselves into the ground to achieve brilliant results at an Athletics competition this week. They competed excellently against other schools and represented Throckley with pride. What a fantastic team! #ThriveAtThrockley #ThrockleyAthletes

Year 6 had the pleasure of testing out a new Artificial Intelligence workshop this week with Steve from @RGSNewcastle. They created a model that taught a machine to recognise images and later ran a test to see how confident the technology was in recognising what had been shown.🤖

Key Stage 2 BOWLED us over as they enthusiastically took part in a bowling competition against other schools. They did themselves and Throckley proud! Well done! #ThriveAtThrockley

Year 5 Green had some additional members of the class on Friday! Having won the attendance prize for Autumn 1, they voted to have a comfy clothes day and bring a teddy bear. At lunch time, they had a teddy bear's picnic in the classroom too! #ThriveAtThrockley
