So we're back to @mediacom home internet being off and on for no reason (weather?). How can I live in a good sized city (@ThomasvilleGA ), near downtown, and still not have decent, consistent internet connection. Makes it hard to work from home. WHY IS THERE NO FIBER?

And if any GOOD internet providers like @ATT or @tdstelecom or @GetSpectrum want to come to Thomasville GA, the bar is set really frigging low at this point. ATT you're already here in t'ville but your service stops a few blocks away. PLEASE move a little west🙏

So now I'm going to vent my frustration by shaming @MediacomCable whereever one can shame a company and wherever bad reviews can be shared. Because screw these idiots.. You've cost me money this month with lost work hrs and lost contracts. I hate you.

The important thing is, this person over at maintance for @MediacomCable finds it easier to cancel the maint request than to actually do his effing job. I'm pretty sure the branch that has been laying on a wire since mid JULY is the problem and have said so. /7

If you think, great! Problem solved! you're forgetting we're dealing with @MediacomCable here. Apparently someone keeps cancelling the maintenance requests (per the tech coming to my house and some phone support). Why? Who knows.... /6

So I call up @MediacomCable and I also email them now too just because squeaky wheels and all that (I was patient for the first 3 weeks of this sh*t), and they send the very nice tech out, and the tech confirms the issue is a maintenance issue, and he puts in the maint req. /5

But, sometimes the intermittent service from @MediacomCable is more annoying and interupting of my workday, as it has been since July. I have not had a full day of service since middle of July. NOR HAS ANYONE iN OUR AREA. /4

But @MediacomCable ? I feel like I could tell you the days over the last year that it has WORKED easier than the days it has not. Most of the time it just goes on and off, booting me off zoom calls then back on again within a half hour. /3

I work from home. I just moved here last year and before that, I lived in the middle of nowhere. For 25 years with my previous provider (@tdstelecom ) I can count on one hand the number of times my internet was out /2

I don't like to call out people negatively but I'm so done with @MediacomCable and their crappy internet "service". I call their help line regularly, email their help desk, and they send a tech out at least once a week. Do I have working internet for the $90 I pay? I do not. 1/

I'm technically obese, but I'm health(ier) and I am on my way. But people love to tell me to "just eat less" and I'm here to say, if you struggle with unhealthy food habits or rel. with food, that is the opposite of helpful. Eat regularly, and eat well.
