Remember football is a team game.

His deep ball is dangerous, especially with Shemar Kirk. Kirk is a good route runner and quick. Jaden Robinson is a great check down target and is hard to take down because of his size. With all that being said, UNA wins 30-20.

Containing the quarterback is going to be key for both teams if they want to win. Austin Peay’s QB Chris Parson is dangerous with his legs and arm. ⬇️

It will be tough for UNA to get the run game started against Austin Peay’s run defense, which is ranked #9 in FCS. Jayvian Allen looks to have found his groove though. ⬇️

UNA looks to have found their starting quarterback in Destin Wade. Wade is elusive and dangerous with his legs. His arm is pretty accurate, especially with KJ Fields, Justin Pegues and Noah Gregg as his wide receivers. ⬇️

It will also be interesting to watch because last week UNA beat Eastern Kentucky who beat Austin Peay two weeks ago. ⬇️

This rivalry goes beyond football and in to basketball. Austin Peay’s mens basketball team refused to shake hands with UNA twice. For football in the past three years, players from both teams had to be separated from each other at the end of game twice. ⬇️

McQuiller is extremely quick and great at blitzing the QB. With that being said, I choose UNA to win 21-17.

Defensive linemen Jakobe Shell and Gary Lewis are both very quick at getting off the edge and pressuring the QB. Defensive backs Jacoby McQuiller and Mark Dorsey are both great at disrupting the QB. Dorsey is great at staying with receivers and knocking away passes.⬇️

UCA’s running back Landen Chambers is impossible to take down without going through a couple defenders first. Quarterback Austin Myers is a great pocket passer. The only thing stopping him from being mobile is a foot injury, but he can scramble still.⬇️

Robinson is great at always knowing where the ball is with his one interception, one forced fumble and fumble recovery. He is also good at getting to the quarterback with two sacks.⬇️

Dilworth is good at covering the middle and hits like a linebacker. The UNA linebackers are amazing with Demarcious Robinson, Seth Hampton and Jahbari Hill. Robinson, Hampton and Hill are the top three for tackles at UNA this season.⬇️

UNA’s defensive back room is pretty sound though with Jermaine Ray Jr., Michael Jordan Jr., Davon Martin and Brian Dilworth. Ray leads the team in pass deflections with seven and is ranked #12 in FCS for passes defended. Jordan is good at defending against the sidelines.⬇️

Justin Pegues is UNA’s leading receiver, he was hurt on a punting play last week. Another player that was hurt for UNA last week was on the defensive side of the ball. Defensive back Tae Martin was injured while stopping a touchdown.⬇️

Tanaka Scott had a good day against ACU with four receptions, 60 yards and one touchdown, especially for missing the game prior. KJ Fields and Noah Gregg are making a name for themselves this season.⬇️

Tabscott looked good against Abilene Christian last week. He sparked the UNA offense multiple times against ACU. The UNA wide receiver room is one to watch out for.⬇️

What isn’t sound about the UNA offense is the starting quarterback position, because UNA is possibly on their third starting quarterback with Ari Patu starting the season, then Destin Wade, then back to Patu, and now possibly DC Tabscott.⬇️

It’s going to be a big day for the ground game this Saturday. UNA’s offense has a sound running back room with Jayvian Allen, Jaylin Daniels, LT Sanders, Roderick Taylor Jr., and Jalen Fletcher.⬇️
