The Silver Plate restaurant at The Sheffield College is run by our fantastic Hospitality and Catering students under the supervision of our expert staff.

We are very proud to announce that on Thursday 18th May we are hosting an exclusive evening service in partnership with James Payne, Executive Chef at the Nailmaker! The evening will consist of a set fine dining menu, priced at £37.50 per person.

Tomorrow is the last lunch service before our Christmas service begins! 🎅 The menu we've had on since we re-opened in September has gone down an absolute treat, and the students (both in the kitchens and front-of-house) have done a fab job. Thanks to everyone who's joined us!

Our fabulous students Jess, Max & Jess recently took part in the heats for the @RestaurantYoung team of the year competition. We are so proud to say that they have made it through to the finals, which will take place at the @SkillsforChefs conference at the end of June.

Not only that, but they also won in the best use of rice category, winning a three day trip to Italy. 🇮🇹 The hard work, dedication and determination the team has shown throughout the competition process is inspirational.
