Alarming studies ‘mainly Black people with the most severe form of OCD especially those with uncommon symptoms may be misdiagnosed as psychotic.’. This is why we need more conversation about OCD in my community, if you are black with OCD, you are no longer alone!.

There is a little-known fact that people of colour suffer from OCD as well. Unfortunately, due to a lack of research and stigma surrounding mental health for people of colour, this condition has largely gone unnoticed and untreated.
