He led the AFC in adjusted EPA/play in 2023 — which represents totality of dropbacks that season, including the slump at the end of the year. So if your argument is that he dropped off from being the best QB in the NFL to just the best QB in the Conference, I get it.

This is a really good point and one I should have factored in before saying 6-11. The more realistic shift in W-L would be 8-9, the same record they had in 2023.
@theryanmichael This is a very high level, rough view of course, but: Assume you add that additional TD to each opponent's score. The 2024 Broncos went 1-7 in one score games. So it's possible- call it their ceiling- to still have landed at 9-8 & just miss the playoffs w/ a bad defense.
