Nerding out about stock market and portfolio gains/loses in the mornings is so fun! We’ve been learning and growing our own respective portfolios since 2020 with our own strategies (he focuses on short term trades and I’m long term)

Coworking and hanging out with friends rejuvenated me. And then Monday hits. My job makes me feel down again even when I try to find the joy Maybe I should always cowork with friends

And also bc my bf’s best friends live there, most tech jobs are still in SF, & it’s the best place for me to network for my own future startup *30min with traffic lol. I’m not falling for “it’s 30min with no traffic” bc it means it will take 45-60min

im finally open to moving to SF (within 30min drive) bc I have such a strong network of friends there 💕

I’m at the age where I have young friends who are a few yrs out of college and older friends who are 15+ yrs my senior. Highly recommended! There’s so much I learn from each generation & it’s so refreshing

I’ve been feeling very discouraged & unmotivated lately until I had a call with my mentor today and realized… if he could find time to upskill himself thru courses with his insane work schedule (leaves home at 4am & gets back at 930pm), then I can too

Sometimes I really miss living in the South. My experience growing up there was that people are genuinely nicer, are more generous, friendlier, and not racist towards me or my family

For once, I got feedback after a hiring manager interview. “We’re looking for someone with a bit more product and UI design experience” What’s frustrating was that not once did “design” come up in the interview or JD, yet I know I UX/UI design better than most no 🧢
