Much of my week at #IPCC61 was spent with the Committee to push thru the outline of the @IPCC ##SRCities. It was the science-policy interface in its truest expression, provoking qns on the nature of science, expertise, process & climate politics. Mind is blown.
APPROVED!! What a privelege it has been to guide the dedicated Scientific Steering Committee to develop the now approved outline of the upcoming @IPCC_CH Special Report on Cities and Climate Change!.

Happy to say the Panel has just accepted the outline on the IPCC Special Report on Climate Change & Cities at #IPCC61 🎉 Onward to the selection of authors and the first Lead Author meetings 💪🏽.
With one day left in the meeting, #IPCC61 delegates worked intensively to try and reach agreement on the outlines of the methodological report on short-lived climate forcers and the Special Report on Climate Change and Cities. Read ▶️
