Not sure why covid impacted our girls program so much. it was my heart I spent years studying girls basketball just to be better at youth basketball at the advice of my dad actually. Gave up boys altogether personally to coach girls for us but I got pulled back. '26?

A few years ago, I did something just in case. I was raised by educators and many thought I would follow in their footsteps. never hit the school system but last summer, I almost took the bait and put being qualified to teach these subjects to use

Always pulled for the underdog. I was that 5'0" 14-year-old with hoop dreams. Grew in my 20s, held my own—but unused ligaments gave out. Luckily, I found my real comp in the classroom and started coaching early. #UnderdogMentality

Still wild how many ex-players or parents say, “Wait, you got a job??” 😅.Yep, I am the head of a $240M/yr+ biz by day. 🤫 .I kept the focus on the struggle, not my title. Now that our original @scspiders players are graduating college, the rest of my story might actually help.

My god because these kids are making it to college without this skill set. It's awful. the kicker is post defense is also terrible so we still attack there. It's everybody's weak spot.
Trainers/Grassroot coaches do me a favor please. TEACH THESE KIDS HOW TO MAKE POST ENTRY PASSES!!.

A kid asked a coach who I was, and coach simply said, “He works for all of us.” Truth is, the past few years have been tough. I stepped back from a lot—including turning down a job as I saw my support as a conflict of interest while my son played at @Valkyries_MBB. I'm back!!!
