Let’s also develop an idiot gauge and early warning bad investment system and get virtual life forms to live our perfect life , that way I could have been a champion
After what happened in the GT race in Macau, it is time to develop a automated driver warning system, based on GPS and accelerometer of all the cars in the race. This could prevent or diminish the severity of such accidents.

Let’s also hope the press officer wakes up or is replaced by someone who understands the importance of good communications, they are the biggest name in F1 and should set standards rather than close doors
Early bird this morning signing the labels for my
@HighlandPark
Whisky which will be called SALTIRE, that’s the name of the Scottish flag proudly worn on my helmet since I was 11 years old. 13 year old cask chosen at 43% to celebrate 13 F1 victories
Furthermore in my view F1 should be a sprint from lights out to chequered flag and any lap driven in a F1 car that isn’t on the edge of adhesion is a wasted life experience
#whatsthepoint
Agree that this is where rationale and actual experience collide, it was a technical interesting period for the tyre companies but frustrating for drivers and teams as you had to nurse the graining, goes against a racers “flat out” instinct.
But, it’s not only DC jnr that gets to have driving fun, proud to have been invited to test Project 1 AMG HyperCar ahead of final sign off and delivery to customers

Another change at Ferrari:
Alberto Antonini has left Scuderia Ferrari (he was the press officer of the team). He was loyal to former team principal Arrivabene, so that should be no surprise.
He is replaced by Silvia Hoffer Frangipane, previously working at Mclaren!

Hey DC
@therealdcf1
. You put me under pressure. You were a very fine driver. If you had stayed with Williams 1996, it could have been you. I have to admit I'm glad you didn't! C'est la F1. I do love this lap though. And the V10 Yeah baby!

Nothing like a quick row to get the blood flowing, well there are other ways but the concept 2 is still a great way to wake up for the day ahead, I have spent days of my life getting nowhere but loving the destination
Simple answer is my own helmet was fogging and at no point in the 30 mins of warm up did I ever get to 100% throttle! # scary, So I asked MS if i could borrow his !
Nice reminder Matt , thanks again to Frank and Patrick and everyone
@WilliamsRacing
for giving me that opportunity. Not a bad podium, right, that’s enough reminiscing, time to attack the future
Can it really be 25 years - a quarter of a century - since David Coulthard won an

in '95, at Estoril, he drove his Williams FW17B from pole to victory, with fastest lap. Michael Schumacher (Benetton) was 2nd, Damon Hill (Williams) 3rd.
Having dropped it into the gravel at the same corner on the way to the grid in 1995 this was a heart-stopping, change of underwear moment!! But like

I kept it on the black stuff to win 😀

colleague David Coulthard (McLaren) won brilliantly at Monza, battling Jean Alesi (Benetton) & Heinz-Harald Frentzen (Williams) to the flag, & what a wonderful pic this is of DC's famously caught-on-TV dab of oppo at Variante Ascari that day!

Good reminder MB, had fogging issues with mine in warm up and I asked Michael if I could borrow his, sportingly he agreed and I also kept it afterwards which he also kindly agreed to, additional fact, he finished 3rd in Brazil wearing the same helmet !
In the pic of the '96 Monaco slow-down lap, above, you'll spot David Coulthard's McLaren, which finished 2nd. Look carefully & you'll see that DC isn't wearing his usual Saltire-themed helmet. This pic shows what he wore instead: a helmet borrowed from Michael Schumacher. (2/2)
I raced around the world in

Well boys you and I all have a lot to thank the Williams family and team for, so many memories, good and bad from my time as test and race driver, that’s when engineers really were able to get creative! No WADA back then!
Well said buddy. They gave so many of us an opportunity in this sport. Some of my best memories in F1 are from working with Frank, Patrick and the Williams crew

What’s with the distance between driver and team
@McLarenF1
? A, McLaren giving FA the cold treatment for leaving the team at the end of the season or FA not wanting to be too close anymore,
