@amasad It's never too late! Found this gem a while back and I started reading it for fun. I learned Calculus in Romania which means I was really good at integrals/derivations without actually understanding what it all meant. This book helped a lot with that.

@balajis Very precious indeed. My parents still tell me stories about how leaving Romania and traveling abroad before the 1989 revolution was considered a privilege reserved for trusted party insiders. The primary goal of the border guards was to keep people in, not out.

One thing that Devin can already do and will be a game changer for agentic models (o1/o3/etc):. Interrupts. The ability to interrupt the model during thinking to steer it / use third party tools / instructions can enable incredible flexibility for custom use cases.

Seeing a lot of self-doubt in crypto rn. I think there are still a lot of strong reasons to continue being excited about crypto. One of the biggest reasons is the user + dev activity on networks like @farcaster_xyz/@desoprotocol/@LensProtocol. None of it is tied to prices!.

Railway is really really good. Being able to deploy straight from a Github repo, detecting a root Dockerfile and using that to build, no need for any complex cicd, will redeploy for every push. Simple custom domain setup and env var management. Incredible developer experience.

Discord > Slack for online communities!. Discord was built for gamers, who meet online first and don't have IRL relationships. This shows up in their product design. Slack was built for companies who wanted a chat client, which assumes all the relationships already exist.

Why are people picking Discord over Slack for community management? For me, it was less to do with the number of community features. The first thing that sold me on Discord is that it has a "Community Server" mode. That made me feel like the product team prioritizes my use case.

I took a couple of hours to build bash-gpt to bring ChatGPT to the terminal (based on whatsapp-gpt by @danielgross). I can use it to generate terminal commands, explain them, and also just prompt Chat GPT in the terminal.
