Our team celebrated the 2025 IREAD assessment results with Dr. Katie Jenner, Indiana Secretary of Education @EducateIN, after the State Board of Education meeting! Dr. Jenner noted that Summer Learning Labs is one of the strategies being employed to increase 3rd grade literacy.

The Mind Trust celebrates the significant 3rd grade literacy gains being made at the state level for Hoosier students. These positive results show that the investments in literacy made by the state legislature, @EducateIN, and local partners are creating a transformative impact.

Based on the 2025 SAT results for open enrollment schools within & near IPS boundaries, ALL 10 of the top 10 schools for overall student proficiency are independent charter and innovation schools. Congratulations to these schools for creating transformative outcomes for students!
