With each new medication added to our portfolio, our healthcare partners are able to provide people in LMICs with critical access to treatment. Currently, we are working together to initiate access for an innovative medicine for Paroxysmal Nocturnal Hemoglobinuria (PNH).

Did you know that 99% of the people we provide treatment access for are diagnosed with a rare disease? 💙"Where you live shouldn’t determine IF you live” is a driving motto for our work, and rare diseases are often among those most overlooked.

On #WorldNGODay we recognize the indispensable role that non-governmental organizations play in shaping a more sustainable and compassionate world. NGOs are the backbone of global progress. Many are the champions of the marginalized and a driving force behind grassroots change.

💫What have you learned since working at The Max Foundation?.A cancer diagnosis isn't a death sentence. It can bring you to life. I've met a lot of people who start a new business, a new relationship, finish their studies, or spend more time with family after the diagnosis.
