Lowcarb/Ketogenic lifestyle saved my life! If you have never tried it before just try it for 30 days and see how you feel. If your on medications tell you Doctor. They may need to be lowered or even eliminated!! It is my prescription for life. #foodismedicine

There really is no good data showing red meat is bad for you. The "red meat is bad" messaging has been a lie spread by propagandists since the 1970s.

"Unprocessed red meat results are heterogeneous: some cohorts show associations [with CVD risk] only in men, others only in women, and many report no significant effect. The findings for increased risk of CVD being associated with poultry consumption appear to be largely neutral"

In 1928 Vilhjalmur Stefansson and K. Andersen, both arctic explorers, ate only fatty meat for an entire year under medical supervision from Bellvue Hospital in New York. Guess what happened? Nothing. No kidney issues, no fibre deficiency issues, no micronutrient deficiencies

As far as I am concerned, anyone I hear saying “the carnivore diet is the proper human diet” is only one step below someone who says “mRNA shots are completely safe and effective” Only somebody with a complete ignorance of science, human anatomy, and what our closest animal

Avi Loeb, a physicist and cosmologist from Harvard, said on the Joe Rogan podcast recently that scientists in his field are only interested in things that reinforce what they already think they know. So much so, they suppress any other opinions. He tried to publish evidence

Monsanto paid scientists to publish fake studies that "proved" glyphosphate was "safe". This now retracted paper played a pivotal role in glyphosphate being reapproved in 2017. Science is being manipulated for corporate gain. This is also happening in nutrition science.

This way of eating is so restrictive, I wouldn't recommend it. Side effects include but are not limited to: extreme satiety, enjoyment of meals, wicked flavour, reduced food expense, rapid improvement in body composition, jealousy from others.

🧠 Brain imaging shows that people with #foodaddiction respond to food cues in the same regions that light up with drugs of abuse. The parallels are remarkable, and measurable. https://t.co/CtAxfe4BM0

I recently used this study to teach my students about Scientific Fraud. Unfortunately, Harvard has a long history of pushing fraudulent pro-food industry research. You can't claim in your title to be investigating low carb diets when the lowest carb group is 47% of calories.

Welp. It's been >100 years and I still haven't been able to find a good study to show that low carb diets, practiced the way 90% of influencers promote them, are healthy long term. Have I missed a memo somewhere? https://t.co/BeSb1FOzV3

This is true. You stay away from starch and sugar and keeping teeth/gums clean is easy. Once the starch and sugar creeps in gum problems become inevitable. Even with an extensive cleaning routine. Dentists must be loving it.

Most people are running on sugar and wondering why they feel like garbage by midday. Ketones change this. Your brain loves them. It's not a hack. It's biology. The mental clarity is unreal.

Your brain uses 20% of your body's energy despite being only 2% of your weight. It runs on glucose when that's available. AND for most people, this works perfectly fine. BUT in Alzheimer's, the brain loses its ability to use glucose. The brain is literally starving. Neurons cry

Most doctors won't tell you this but "managing" diabetes just means slowing down how fast it gets worse. That's not good enough. Normal blood sugars should be the only acceptable goal - and it's 100% achievable for most people by reducing carbs to a more appropriate level.

If you don't, you should follow this man 👇 he's literally fighting at the governmental and academic level to protect real food. If it wasn't for people like this we'd likely already be living in a dystopian future where UPF vegan food is all that's available.

During yesterday's session in the European Parliament, I presented the Nourishment Table as a new dietary framework emphasizing the need to properly *nourish* populations (rather than doubling down on the now almost meaningless concept of "healthy diets"). https://t.co/N3LbYqXOwc
