There was a thought that the blue flame energy in this shot might be read as water, so the effects animator Matthieu Petit paid careful attention to make sure the movement of the effects was clearly fire despite being blue.

This shot was composed from a sequence of very flat cuts that in succession, create the illusion of continuous movement with dynamic beats 🤌
