Every person on this planet needs to understand and develop the skill of .Delayed Gratification which is the ability to postpone IMMEDIATE gain and TEMPORARY pleasure in favor of obtaining a more VALUABLE and LONG LASTING reward in the long term.

Omitting fault totally undermines an apology. For many people those three words “I was wrong”can completely heal a marriage,a friendship,a relationship with your child or a relationship with your parents.

Why is it so hard for some of us to admit “I was wrong” Being wrong doesn’t make you weak, it makes you human. Too often we blame others, rationalize our mistakes, justify our actions or gloss over every detail of the story but never admit to actually being wrong.

Taking a rest day for mental health is real, but so is laziness. Don’t confuse the two 🙂.

If you spend more time and energy talking about what you’re going to do than actually doing what you say, STOP TALKING. Every time you talk and don’t back up your words with action you lose credibility with people who are about that action.

When you go to the gym you don’t start off by lifting your 1 Rep Max. You start off by warming up with lighter weight. Try treating your new year goals like your workouts. Start out with light easier task to help you build momentum and the confidence to attack your bigger goals.

Comfort is Overrated. It leads to self-absorption and discontent. However discomfort is a catalyst for growth. It forces us to change and adapt, It creates desire for something greater. When you push yourself to grow you will experience discomfort, but there’s profit in the pain.

As you get ready for the holidays and your Christmas shopping list, don’t forget that your PRESENCE is more important than the PRESENTS you get your loved ones. You can replace gifts but you can’t replace quality time.
