A lot of us are in for a rude but beautiful awakening when we hit 30, 40, 50+ and realize life continues. Your 20s are just a taste of who you’ll eventually become. We all have to start embracing and loving what it means to age.
I say this as someone approaching 30 who is freaking out about it. But then I think— other than societal BS that shames women for getting older, I wholeheartedly do not want to be in my early to mid 20s again lol I love what I’ve been able to evolve into & understand about me.
I feel like me at 30 will be amazing. Me at 40 will be amazing. Me at 50 will also be amazing. Like I don’t ever want to feel like I have to stop the journey of being and expressing myself because of my age. Life continues AND the bag will only get bigger. I want to embrace it.

I am 34 and 30s so far are so amazing. Literally your brain isn’t even done developing until 25..20s hype and glorification is so overrated and harmful

Agreed. I have no intentions on dying my grey hair as they continue to come in. It’s such a beautiful thing to see. It is apart of the aging process, no need to hide it.

It’s lowkey lovely in a lot of ways. I think I’m a way more interesting person at this age. I just do more things, have more hobbies and interests. Way more comfortable in my skin and self.

Honestly as someone who’s had adrenal issues since I hit puberty I already got grey hair by age 11 so I said fuck it imma just be happy your body doesn’t always need to determine your level of enjoyment in life.

Some ppl act like life is over once u hit 30! I enjoyed my 30s.. grew up.. matured.. meet interesting ppl..did some traveling...had my 2nd child.. now I'm bout to close this chapter n get ready for 40! I love salt n pepper hair.. I'm ready😂

FYI, the years between 35 and 55 fly by in a blink. Best advice: learn what your “homeostasis”point feels like then always honor it. Work/Life balance, getting needs met w effective communication, equal exchange of energy in close relationships, what is nurturing/nourishing etc.

I’m in my early 30’s and could not imagine having to endure my 20’s ever again. It was a rough road that paved the way to my being able to be so independent and happy now. It really does only get better! 🧡🖤

I’ve been saying for the longest that I can’t wait to hit my thirties bc the twenties are soooo ghetto. Like now is my time to figure out what I wanna do and how to get there so by my thirties I get to enjoy it

Enjoy the journey. Each year, the more comfortable in your skin, better financial decisions are made, nurture the relationships that serve you, let dead weight go. Wishing you a smooth ride. ❤️
