Yes, it's annoying as a reader, and I understand that otp:true exists. But I'm saying this to my fellow writers: you don't want people to be disappointed by your fics!! You want them to be so excited that they found your fic! Tag those background ships in the additional tags <3

I say this with all the love in the world. If someone is searching for fic of a specific ship and they would be disappointed by the small part that ship plays in you fic, then that ship does not belong in the "relationship" tags.
