Peer Patronage.
Silica is my experimental grants program. The idea is simple: offer no-strings-attached capital – funding, belief, space, tools, network, etc – to a different artist in my life. Silica was inspired by investor syndicates (and provoked by institutional grants). Let’s dig in 🪡

As of today, we’ve created a publication to (re)connect with people and concepts we care about. Newsletters still work these days. But we didn’t want to use Substack, etc so we’ve started with an independent site. We’re open to where this will head and the paths it will cross.
