Reclaim your joy after pain. After grief, burnout, trauma, etc. your joy can be sniffed out by all the other overwhelming feelings of these difficult times. And while letting your feelings be what they are is a necessary step, staying there is not helpful. Find joy again.

Initially: Packed my laptop and iPad for a day trip to Asheville to work on my blog and enjoy some of my fave spots. But then: Decided to just enjoy the beautiful spring day instead sans devices. Never took either out. Wrote, ideated, and dreamed in my journal. Was AMAZING!

Good reminder to meditate today 🙏
Meditation does a (good) number on your heart, in part by lowering blood pressure. You lower blood pressure, you lower the risk of heart attack and stroke, it’s that simple. Heart disease and stroke, taken together, are by far the most common killers in our society.

I’m the most boring I’ve ever been. My weekends look like: - sleeping in - working on my blog at the coffee shop - cooking yummy food - going to yoga - making art - staying in at night I’m also the happiest I’ve ever been. 🤗
