This is the regulation politicians need to dismantle - the local housing development process.
Imagine how Chicago built apartments in the 1800s. Get the bank’s approval, maybe a permit, a construction plan, and then boom. New housing. Now, we have this process:

Increasingly convinced 98% of people remix what they have seen others do. Very rare to have true new innovation outside of what you have seen. Main reason IMO why kids of rich families end up making money - picking from known set of options.

Google calendar should warn you by default if an event is created with no email address. Two meetings this week with external people I forgot to add their email to, resulting in a day delay for no reason. Yes my bad, but software needs to support human behavior.

So much of work is unenjoyable as it's interfacing with a computer vs a human. Half day of emails to send would be so easy if we used more async voice - like voicemails but not monolithic blocks of audio.

Google needs a designer overhaul of gmail and drive content editing. Sheets is awful to work with. Gmail has lots of little frustrations like the extra line height above and below bulleted lists.

Capitalism's natural force is like gravity - continually concentrate mass at an exponential rate. Most benefits and negatives come from this. Benefits - economies of scale and surplus profits for research/vc/etc Negatives - enough wealth to feed world, yet many are hungry
