Say hello to the Cave Spitter: a bizarre, bug-like predator that lurks in the depths. This aggressive creature attacks from a distance, launching toxic fluid at anyone who dares to wander too close. Any ideas how to fight off this weird ranged-attacking bug?

Your AI scan picked up a hostile lifeform deep in the jungle….It keeps its distance but never misses a shot. Toxic, territorial, and definitely not friendly. Any guesses? Drop your theories in comments!

Remember those Martian crabs you ran into earlier? :crab:. Well… if you chose to fight them, just know — their meat isn’t the only thing worth keeping. Some parts might come in handy later. Choose wisely, survivor. #indiegame #indiedev #gamedev #survival

Meet the Martian Boar — a beast you don’t want to mess with. Unlike their Earth cousins, these creatures have powerful legs and massive horns strong enough to plow through trees. If you spot one in the Martian Wilds… would you run, hide, or try your luck?. #indiegame #indiedev

📷 Crabs. turns out they’re not just Earth’s problem. Mars has them too — tougher and adapted to survive the harsh Red Planet. Their armored shells might come in handy on your journey — and if you’re lucky, their meat is as juicy as it is filling. Good luck catching one.

Sure, it’s Friday here on Earth… but beneath the Martian surface, there are no weekends off when your water filters are running low and something’s moving in the jungle. Enjoy your break — the explorers in Blind Descent can only dream of one. (If they’re still alive to dream.)

The Martian Tortoise looks surprisingly similar to its Earth cousins — but with a twist. Its shell and skin are covered in intricate patterns. How could a creature evolve so similarly on a completely different planet? A mystery yet to be solved…. #IndieGameDev #wishlist

This vibrant orange plant is as dramatic as it is deadly. The moment one of its fruits is plucked, it deflates in seconds — triggering the rest of the fruits to drop and rapidly rot. ⚠️ Warning: Despite its juicy appearance, the fruit is toxic to humans.

In Blind Descent, nature has a way to fight back. When you construct buildings or drop items, an infection clump forms around them. If left unchecked, this cluster will grow, overtaking and disintegrating your structures as nature neutralizes your interference.
