Homebreds are always the most nerve wracking to have in this business. You roughly spend 2yrs from birth to 1st race pouring over their every move&praying they don’t hurt themselves. I swear these animals are like children. I’m proud of our girl for a very strong second tonight.

He was the first horse to carry my silks. I always dreamed of owning him again, but not all dreams line up. 💔 I’m just so proud of the horse I watched him become. He will make his new owners very happy 💙💙

It will never cease to amaze me how quickly & easily my bf falls asleep. Been laying here listening & having an internal crisis over the fact I’m not sure I’ll have a “heart horse” again since my barn favorite over the last 5 years has been sold off to his next career. 😅😭💔🏇
