Solsbury Hill wins at Roscommon for @codwyerracing. Solsbury Hill is a small flat topped hill and site of an Iron Age hill fort, above the village of Batheaston in Somerset. It was the inspiration for the first solo song released by Peter Gabriel after he left Genesis in 1977.

Charlie Mason runs at Ffos Las today for @AWCarrollracing. Owned by the Shropshire Wolves, Charlie Mason, was a founder member of Wolverhampton Wanderers. He made almost 300 appearances at left back and was the first player in the club's history to win an England cap in 1887.

Scott Key won at Galway for Andrew Slattery. By Starspangledbanner, the resistance of Fort McHenry in the Battle of Baltimore inspired Francis Scott Key to write the poem 'Defence of Fort McHenry' which became the lyrics for 'The Star Spangled Banner', the US national anthem.
