These two leaves may not seem like much, but they represent the first true trait measurements of my PhD! On the left is a leaf suffering from rust. On the right is a wheat line containing a chromosome from a wheat wild relative. Could these wild relatives make wheat resistant?

Just finishing the final tutorial with Year 7 & 8 @BrilliantClub pupils. Some fantastic results! Plus the levels of resilience, determination and integrity that these students have shown are phenomenal. They have 100% inspired me and hopefully the course has also inspired them.
