I was so tired one year during Fringe reviewing that I wrote up a review for a show, it turned out, I’d entirely dreamed. 4* for ‘Puppets I have known’ or something like that….

Probably a controversial opinion, and I've never read her books, but the Observer article on Raynor Winn, whilst a cracking piece of journalism in some ways, is also a pretty one-sided hit piece. Ambushing anyone with an imminent publication and demanding a comment is pretty bad?.

It’s a bit like when Scottish theatres tell me they can’t afford to sell cheaper tickets and keep the lights on, and then 2 days into a run the stalls are half full at best. It’s just bad business.

You do have to question the legacy of the 2014 Commonwealth Games if, in 10 years, it no longer has the infrastructure to host a full games. Plus, in what universe can Scotland not host a Rugby competition?.
