• Transient ischemic attack (TIA), also called a “mini stroke”, is a warning sign that you may experience a full stroke. Symptoms appear then go away after a few minutes, and may include severe sudden headache, difficulty moving or thinking and numbness or weakness on one side.

Atherosclerosis is the thickening or hardening of the arteries. It is caused by a buildup of plaque in the inner lining of an artery. This Plaque is made up of deposits of fatty substances, cholesterol, cellular waste products, calcium, and fibrin.
