BLACK PHONE 2 📞 feels like a watered-down Nightmare on Elm Street, adding more supernatural elements but not doing anything interesting with them. The Grabber feels less threatening—though oddly good at ice skating—the concept worked better in the first film when it was simpler.

#TheSmashingMachine is the only movie I’ve seen with The Rock where I actually forgot it was him on screen. It’s his best performance yet—a role only he could pull off. If you’re into gritty sports biopics with an A24 vibe, this one’s a must-watch. 👊

#OneBattleAfterAnother was solid. Leonardo DiCaprio chewed up every scene, sometimes giving off Rick Dalton vibes. It took the entire first act for me to acclimate to the tone, but once it clicked I was in. I’d place it in my top 5 Paul Thomas Anderson films, behind Boogie Nights
