🏴 Delighted that the Scottish Languages Bill was just passed by @ScotParl. It means more support for Gaelic and Scots, the chance for parents to ask for Gaelic schools in their area, and a big step in keeping our national languages alive and growing.

But then, English is not a proper language either, it's a combination of a simplified German grammar with mispronounced French words. In fact, modern European languages are "pigeon" (I guess you meant "pidgin") versions of ancient ones: Latin, Greek, Old Germanic/Slavonic etc.
@JohnSwinney @ScotParl Scots is not a language. It’s a form of pigeon English.
