Too often, the bringing in of artists is instrumental or incidental rather than fundamental or strategic. If we are serious about engaging in whole society resilience, then we need urgently to find productive ways to engage with arts and culture as critical elements of society.

Interesting to think about the varying texts we may turn to when taking a plural approach to human aspects, rather than seeking a single ‘manual’ (which @EmPlanFaith notes might never be read).

At @ISE_Expo, @EmPlanFaith reflects on ways we can embed human aspects into all aspects of emergency planning. He introduces four new @TheEPS1 publications which speak to this and invite plural approaches.
