The scene where Hilda sneaks out with Frida before getting grounded was originally going to involve her getting lured into a fairy mound (without knowing what it is) and then dug out by the raven, but it had to be cut for page count reasons

This actually was supposed to be a fairy mound. I was originally planning to explore the fairy stuff in a future comic and this was a pre-emptive teaser, but ultimately the show caught up and it ended up in there.
