قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِنَّ الإِيمَانَ لَيَخْلَقُ فِي جَوْفِ أَحَدِكُمْ كَمَا يَخْلَقُ الثَّوْبُ الخَلَقُ فَسَلُوا اللهَ أَنْ يُجَدِّدَ الإِيمَانَ فِي قُلُوبِكُمْ

The Prophet ﷺ said: “Verily, the faith of one of you will wear out within him, just as a shirt becomes worn out, so ask Allah to renew faith in your hearts.” al-Mu’jam al-Kabīr lil-Ṭabarānī 14668

رحمه الله The Prophet ﷺ said: "By Him in Whose Hands my life is! I would love to be martyred in Allah's Cause and then get resurrected and then get martyred, and then get resurrected again and then get martyred and then get resurrected again and then get martyred." Bukhari 2797

محاولاتك للتوبة بحد ذاتها توبة Your attempts to repent are, in themselves, repentance قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّدَمُ تَوْبَةٌ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Regret is repentance" Sunan Ibn Mājah 4252

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "You must perform the night prayer for it is the habit of the righteous who came before you, it brings you closer to your Lord, it expiates your evil deeds, and prevents you from sinning.” Sunan al-Tirmidhī 3549

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Allah Almighty descends every night to the lowest heaven, and He says: Are there any asking that I may give them? Are there any seeking forgiveness that I may forgive them? This continues until the rise of dawn.” Musnad Aḥmad 16745

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Our Lord marvels at two men: A man who leaves his bed and blankets at night to pray, and Allah says to His angels: ‘Look at My servant who has left his bed and comfort, desiring what is with Me and fearing what is with Me.

Perfection

سامِحني حينَ أسجُدُ وقلبي مُنشغِل Forgive me when I prostrate while my heart is distracted وسامِحني حينَ أتوبُ ثم أعود للذنبِ And forgive me when I repent and then return to sin, فليسَ لي مَلجَأٌ غيرُكَ يا الله For I have no refuge other than You, O Allah

أعوذُ بكَ أن أكونَ عبدًا جحودًا I seek refuge with You from being an ungrateful servant أعدُّ البلايا وأنسى النِّعَم Who counts trials and forgets blessings

أنتَ المقدِّمُ وأنتَ المؤخِّرُ، وأنتَ على كلِّ شيءٍ قديرٌ You are the One who brings forward and the One who delays, and You are over all things capable.

اللهمَّ اغفِرْ لنا ما قدَّمْنا وما أخَّرْنا، وما أسرَرْنا وما أعلَنَّا، O Allah, forgive us what we have sent ahead and what we have delayed, what we concealed and what we declared.

اللهمَّ اغفِرْ لنا خطأنا وعَمْدَنا، وهَزْلَنا وجِدَّنا، وكلُّ ذلك عندنا، O Allah, forgive us our mistakes and our deliberate acts, our jesting and our seriousness—all of that is within us.

اللهمَّ اغفِرْ لنا خطيئَتَنا وجَهْلَنا، وإسرافَنا في أمرِنا، وما أنتَ أعلمُ به منّا، O Allah, forgive us our sins and our ignorance, our excesses in our affairs, and what You know better than we do about us.

اللهم لا تؤاخذني بما يقولون O Allah, do not hold me accountable for what they say, واغفر لي ما لا يعلمون and forgive me for what they do not know, واجعلني خيرا مما يظنون and make me better than what they think of me. آمين يا رب العالمين
