Why does this event continue to run with the horrible record it holds re: animal welfare?
A horse has died after hitting a guard rail during a chuckwagon race at the Calgary Stampede, and a driver has been fined $10,000 and disqualified as a result. It's the 3rd horse to die at the Stampede this year.

Project Jessie is the rescue programme of Animal Alliance. The programme is named after a dog who we failed to save. We vowed never to forget her.

Ontario hunters won't have to pay more to enjoy the great outdoors this season. We're freezing fees, cancelling the increase planned by the Liberals, and removing the $2 service fee to keep more money in your pocket.
