So we should win today. We’ve been the best team in the league pretty much since mid-December. We’re one of the best five teams in this division. One more game at SJP where we’ve won 6 in a row to seal it. It’s not an easy fixture but a better one than our rivals have.

Won’t have been easy for Howe mid-season to hold individual crisis meetings with key players, staff etc to work out what was going wrong. Most incredible turnaround I’ve seen in a season with the same manager - who got no support in January compared to CL rivals. And won a cup.

When we lost to Brentford in December we were behind Spurs in the league and a point ahead of Man United. Only four ahead of West Ham. Picked up 46 points in 20 games since. That’s the same number of points Liverpool picked up in their first 20 PL games.

Everton’s away form under Moyes is good. But they’ve scored 15 in 18 away games this season. Generally if you score two against them you win. Palace’s away form was also good when they came to our place . Would love to see Barnes back on the left and Murphy right of a front three.

Horrible week ahead, but we’d have 100% taken this position going into the last game pretty at pretty much every point of the season so far. Very hard to win at Arsenal, particularly without four first team players. All about next Sunday.

Remarkable that if we win our last two games of the season we finish 2nd in the Premier League. We were miles off it first few months of the season. Obscene turnaround.

Chelsea’s away form against good sides this season is dreadful. Their record against the top 10 overall is poor. Huge chance today. We turn up when it really matters under Howe and it really matters today.
