Just listened to a chap speaking to Peter Cardswell who referred to Sir Keir as an ‘Illywhacker’ - very apt. Reminded me of Peter Carey (Booker Prizewinner) who used the term as the title of his 1985 novel about a liar, trickster & confidence man - great book (parallels 😉).
