Took a look at the entire Ethereum validator set to calculate how many consolidation opportunities were missed after the Pectra upgrade. Key stats:.- Since pectra, 96,672 new validators got activated.- 79,547 of those validators could have been consolidated, they reused a.

I ran a 36hour study on attestation arrival times on ethereum mainnet (slot 12029000 -> 12039000) to better understand how quickly my local Prysm node sees validated attestations across all subnets. This matters for reorg resistance & evaluating timing slack for slot

The power of CL retrieving blobs from EL mempool:. Had it disabled for a while, recently re-enabled. The results speak for themselves:. Chart 1: Utilization rate .Chart 2: Block import speed.Chart 3: DA wait times. GetBlobs wasn't an EIP, no hard fork needed. Pure engineering,

Saw a lot of back and forth on faster slot time (EIP-7782) and epbs (EIP-7732), so I wanted to share where I stand. First off, I want to emphasize that all the discussions I’ve seen have been in good faith, everyone wants what’s best for Ethereum. The main question is just the.

EIP-7732 breakout notes: Collecting feedback:.1. For stakers, pools, and exchanges: How expressive does the proposer payment address need to be?.2. For client devs: How big of a lift is it to update attestation data type to include a bool or bock hash?.

tomorrow we have a breakout room on EIP-7732, please come and voice your opinion if you have one. I ask you to please add a topic to the agenda. If you are a client dev, please take a look at the section "problem description" in this document

Haven’t been able to make it to ACD calls as much as I’d like, but today’s session looked super productive. Ethereum is shipping & scaling!

Ethereum validator queue has been growing steadily since late May, I analyzed all the old ETH1 and new EIP-6110 execution deposits from slot 11649077 -> 11931977. Highlevel numbers: .- There are total 82,529 new EL deposits vs. 541 old eth1 data deposits as expected eth1 deposit

To get an EIP in, you have to convince the 5 main client teams. The EIP will be completely dissected with loads of discussions, profiling, tests. Unrivalled engineering rigor, coordination. Trust me bro, it’s definitely not “just a few devs”. Hats off to the teams.

is criminally underrated. The UX for partial deposit, withdrawal, and compound is super smooth. Huge kudos to the team behind it, but as always, DYOR.

Been digging into blocks over the past month and found something interesting:.172 blocks had no txs, 85 had no fee recipients. That’s ~5–6 per day, about the same rate as reorgs. Example: Could last-minute reorgs be catching builders off guard? Anyone know.

One month since the Pectra update. Wrote a quick script to download all the blocks since & study execution request usage. What I found across 236k slots:. - Out of 236k slots, only 30,587 blocks had any execution requests.- In those blocks, there were 69,041 deposit requests, 312.

Last BPO update for devnet0 landed ~2 days ago at epoch 1584, raising the max blob limit to 20. this marks the end of the BPO schedule for devnet0, everything went smoothly 🚀.Next up: testing bpo mixed with fork digest to improve p2p peering
