This doesn't include how I failed my end of 1st semester biochem exam by 2 Qs & failing the retake would mean repeating M1 (do you know how embarrassed I was as a biochem major to have failed that) or the numerous personal attacks i dealt with from classmates.Jesu I have suffered.

I went on to pass Step 2 first try with cushion, started to make my mark in Family Medicine, matched at my #1 residency, passed step 3, and now am chief resident. Cue Reba because 🎵im a survivorrrr🎵.

Got into med school after being told I never would with my scores then struggled all of M1 & 2 before very publicly failing step one & crashing out on Twitter (thank yall for sticking besides me 😭). I passed my retake by scoring EXACTLY 194 1/?.

This is my first time doing boating (ya girl has lake lan*er trauma so I was never gonna do that) and it was so fun!.

It was only when I really liked myself that I started working out for me, eating healthier for me, wanting to feel better for ME. I was never able to do it before because I was trying to lose weight for other people whether it be aunties, society, etc etc etc.

This may seem controversial but I truly believe I was only able to lose weight after having a horrible relationship with weight/weight loss my whole life because at my highest weight I had reached acceptance with who I was and finally (mostly) abandoned self-hatred.

There aren't enough words to describe how excited I am to go to FMX this year!. I haven't been able to go to an @aafp event since 4th year of med school so I can't wait to reconnect with #FMRevolution friends, colleagues, and mentors alike!.
