Most importantly, this study helped support rolling out the 3D printed hearts to more teaching sites. Especially those without access to a pathology museum! Stay tuned for how medical students felt about that.

We replicated heart pathology models using 3D printing then recorded medical students as they used them in a prac to see which they preferred. Analysed the videos using machine learning and structured observation ๐Ÿง

SO excited to share that my side project has finally been published! Do students actually prefer to use 3D printed models over cadaveric ones when they are learning about pathology?? Find out here ๐Ÿ‘‡.
