But yeah, it’s pretty sad and ironic that the US after WW2 managed to out-do the literal Axis Powers in terms of both numbers and villainy. If America wasn’t the head of the UN or allies with Europe right now, they’d probably be Nuremberg’d into overhauling the country entirely.

Not pretending these two don’t still have issues as Germany still dickrides the IDF and Japan’s government kept sweeping crimes like the Nanjing Massacre under the rug, but they’re at least arguably more redeemable than America will unfortunately ever be.

Germany and Japan had committed some of the most reviled atrocities in WW2 alone, yet these two managed to redeem themselves (though Germany's better in this aspect) while America continued to commit war crimes all because some foreign countries preferred communism.

I doubt the US is ever redeemable at this point, the nation had chances AGAIN and AGAIN to improve but instead they've chose to make the lives of others a warzone. You'd think by the end of WW2 that they wouldn't be on the level of the Axis Powers, but no they chose to anyway.

However, this less strict policies aren't all good. For certain NSFW/taboo content the policies can be pretty vague on what's actually okay or not, meaning that if you get enough notoriety from enough people then you're likely gonna get your account mass reported.

don't get me wrong Twitter is (and always had been) one of the worst places for artists, especially nowadays with generative AI being so intrusive and easily accessible for theft, but the less strict TOS on art has prevented this site from being straight up unusable.

Hell, Just recently Bluesky just started to ban any art involving "unconsensual acts" which obviously pissed a lot of people off. All this really does is just make NSFW artists (not all of them, there's still NSFW on Bluesky) turn back to Twitter reluctantly.

I think the reason why Twitter isn't dead would be that drawing porn here isn't as restrictive as it was on Bluesky or Reddit. You can easily prove this just by looking at Japanese artists on Twitter. For better or worse, you can get away with a lot more taboo art on Twitter.

I know Linux has like a ton of distros, but just making native versions of programs mainly for Debian-based and Arch-based distros (like what Minecraft Java did) would still be a big deal.

Can companies make native Linux versions for their programs already? Not only would it make them more money but it would hopefully make Windows not a fucking monopoly anymore. Like, if they can make natively-ran programs for Mac then Linux shouldn't be off the cards.

There are literally other yuri anime out there that isn't just yuribait. Revolutionary Girl Utena and Sakura Trick are RIGHT THERE yet you guys chose the show that is explicitly drenched in fanservice. Plus, the author of Dragon Maid is into lolicon so why are you supporting him?

Seriously, why are twitter users so desperately trying to rationalize their "love" for shows like this if they're so morally disgusted by such explicitly weird content. If you want yuri anime that doesn't involve weird lolicon shit, then shows like Dragon Maid aren't worth it.
