Galaxy crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Friday. I’ll be honest, this has really messed me up. This house is not the same without El Jefe and I’m gonna miss him forever. Hasta la próxima chiquito. You were the goodest boy.

Cakes are on pause because I tested my eggs and they aren’t fresh. It wouldn’t be a huge deal if I was working from a boxed mix, but this one’s being made from scratch. Unfortunately I can’t get a grocery shipment until 1:00PM-3:00PM and that’s when the Padres play so later!.
Cakes are happening today. Refrigerated ingredients are coming to room temperature and the oven is preheating. On the filling, I think I’ll do one with lemon curd, one with strawberry reduction, and one with both to test each.

I’m okay and it’s not an emergency. I have hypotension (low blood pressure) sometimes that kicks up. I ate a little and finished my coffee. I feel better now. I also have hypertension (high blood pressure) so it’s weird.

Me: *talking to mom in the hallway*. SIX SECONDS LATER. ME: *laying on the floor, befuddled*. Apparently I was mid-sentence and just fell out. I had a two cups of coffee in my tumbler, but no injuries, the coffee was fine. Checked my BP and it was 82/67 smh.

Cakes are not happening today because when I got home, my mom had put my refrigerated ingredients back into the fridge, instead of allowing them to come to room temperature. That’s okay, because after errands, I was majorly overheated. I will have a free morning tomorrow to do it.
