#gradschool is so wild. In my Atlantic World seminar today, fellow student proposed a #history of the original AI - "artificial insemination." Dairy cow semen was not on my list of expectations for the semester, but I kinda can't wait to read it 😂

Last year, my husband changed careers and I had a medically necessary hysterectomy that, WITH INSURANCE cost me over $7k out of pocket. #loans are keeping us afloat in the hopes that the education will pay off with higher earning potential.
People took out student loans not knowing that healthcare insurance would eat up their check and still leave them with nearly insurmountable deductibles. People took out student loans not expecting their payments to balloon up to mortgage payments.

.@JasonIsbell I am currently defending a man in trial facing the death penalty. The government has stayed the trial so it can apply the new law that makes it easier to kill people mid-trial. Florida executed a third man in 70 days today. Hope the High Road is what keeps me going.
