#nisdcoach Having tech in my title doesn’t mean I think tech is always the answer. #pedagogyfirst #technologysecond #always A digital worksheet is a great first step, but there’s got to be more.
Teaching matters more than tech. Technology is great in the classroom where there is also a great teacher. Schools don’t need tech geeks who can teach. We need teaching geeks who can use tech. If you change the technology but don’t change your lesson, nothing really changes.

Had a great 2 days at @NISDJones and @NISDJonesSTEM working with 6th grade social studies. Back tomorrow for day 3! Love seeing how creative @NISDLib's Ms. V can be with the Breakout clues and locks! Lots of time, TEKS, and love in planning these lessons for students!.
Shout out to Ms. Villarreal, Librarian @NISDJones @NISDLib & @techcoachjones @NISDAcadTech for another fantastic @breakoutEDU activity supporting 6th graders in understanding World Cultures' concepts. The students were immersed in the learning. 💗
